Group Yoga Classes

I currently run a number of group yoga classes per week and can also offer specialised pregnancy yoga classes within Somerset. All general classes are suitable for complete beginners and improvers and for people of all ages and abilities. Each group yoga class is tailored according to those attending and everyone will be given options to keep their yoga as gentle or to make it as challenging as they choose. However no one will ever be encouraged to take their yoga to a level where they feel pain or severe discomfort.

The group yoga classes are kept small so I will always endeavour to ensure each member of the group gets individual attention and assistance.  If you are a complete beginner or recovering from injury you may benefit from a 1-2-1 yoga session to start with. Do get in touch if you aren’t sure which would be best for you.

All group yoga classes will be made up of: yoga postures and sequences (asanas), working with the breath (pranayama), relaxation and meditation.

Group Yoga Classes – Introductory Offer – £5.00 for first class 

Your first class is offered at the special introductory price of £5.00 – to see if you like the class (which I very much hope you will!). You then have the option to buy a 6 class pass which is valid for 8 weeks and works out cheaper than the pay as you go rate – and gives you the motivation to attend. Alternatively you can pay per session if this suits you better.

Intermediate and Advanced Classes – Tuesdays and Fridays – Montigo Resorts (formerly Charlton House Spa) – 7.30 am – 8.30 am

These are more advanced class for intermediate plus students. The postures are fast moving and dynamic but the class also includes breathwork and relaxation giving both physical and mental benefits.

Beginners Class – Thursdays 10.00am – 11.00am

These classes are designed for complete beginners and improvers and those who may have been away from yoga for some time – or are getting over a injury. Classes are slower paced and look more in-depth into traditional yoga poses – breaking them down into more manageable steps.
